Bibi, Indrani, Kanmani, Marimuthu, Rama, Sintamani are 6 siblings abandoned outside our shelter. They were tightly tied up in a plastice bag and were severely malnourished and deyhdrated as we do not know how long they had been out there. This is part of the reason that FKF choose to keep its location private for the most part. This is one quiet boy. Although he is very friendly and always eager to please.
This is rani a 3 year old female.
This boy was found with a broken face and lower lips missing. He was at risk of bleeding to death. Multiple babies of ours had to donate blood to save his life. In the end he pulled through. He is now our resident doorman, ever ready to greet guest. He is loving and calm. Always on the job to greet guest, he is a natural ambassador at heart.
This is Rohini a 3 year old female.
This girl walked into a car workshop to take shelter from a heavy storm and was stomped on by the owner for dragging water in. She was thown in a drain and left to drown and die. It was a miracle she didnt as we were certain she would when we got there and took one look at her. She is paralyzed. She is a ray of sunshine. She is always smiling. Ever eager to run around and play though she cannot walk (paralyzed). She is still in pysical therapy. This girl is a testament to the stragth that dogs have and their unwaivering capacity for love. Rohini loves every soul she encounters. A pure gem.
This is Nanthini a 2 year old female.
She was rescued at 2 months old with maggot infested body and open wounds on her head. She had very low chances of survival. Yet her recovery was quite fast. She is shy girl. Still a little wary of strangers. However, she opens up to those close to her with her very playful character.
This is Shan a 1 year old male.
This boy was tied into a gunny sack and thrown at our gates. What we thought was garbaged, until it moved, the boy was severely malnourished. He is one handsome lad. Independent, low maintanance and always out for adventure, he is active, playful and a joy to be around.
This is Shanmugi a 3 year old female.
Shanmugi was rescued at a chemical factory with horrible skin. Vet's best guess was that she had some sort of corrosive material poured on her. Her's was a long and painful journey as her skin refused to heal. But she is now a beautiful young lady. She is an alpha female. Very independent and protective by nature, she is loyal to a fault and will defend those closest to her. A faithfull companion to have around.
This is Sharon a 4 year old female.
Sharon is Jennifer's baby and was born at the shelter. Mom Jennifer's story: Jeniffer was rescued as a pregnant mom (her baby is Sharon). She was found with multiple nail gun wounds with the nail getting as far as into her bones. An excrutiangly painful rescue as we found it hard to touch her anywhere. This was a difficult rescue as we felt her pain every step of the way. Her baby was delivered unharm. Both Mom & baby (Sharon) are beutiful gils now. This girl is very playful. Although a little wary of people, she love frolicking about in the sun. A happy little soul
